Kelvis Ochoa
Cuban singer and composer. An example of what is newest in Cuban music. With a well-defined style, he adds to his music elements from multiple musical genres such as Son, Sucu, Cha, Macuta, Songo, Conga, Merengue, Milonga and Timba, among others.
He began his training at 10 years of age, in the year of the local cultural center in Nueva Gerona, the capital of the Isle of Youth. When he was barely 18 years old he became a member of Asociación Hermanos Saiz in a cultural Project in the Isle of Youth called Los Diablitos.
Kelvis is a master at bringing together traditional rhythms with influences from Funky, Chili-peppers rock and pop, and international pop as well as pop from the Antilles.
