Directed by Isaac Bocalandro and founded in 1998, bringing about a chain of hits that has established this band as one of the best in Cuba.
They are in constant movement on stage from the beginning to the end of their performance, to the amazement of those dancing-lovers who follow them, as well as those who do not dance but enjoy modern Cuban music.
Their style and projection on stage gives them the possibility of presenting a 100% Cuban show, like they say in their song “Somos Charangueros”.
- Pedro Romero y Sol de Cuba
Founded in 1994 with the premise of providing audiences with a product of proven quality, they cover an array of national and international genres allowing the spectator to witness an unforgettable moment. Sol de Cuba is the result of the highly artistic and professional work of five professional musicians, graduated from Cuban art schools.
These musicians showcase their versatility with a well-defined repertoire including son, guaracha, boleros, cha, cha chá, Cuban rural and traditional music, rumba and guaguancó, as well as Samba, Bossa Nova, Joropo, Blues, Cumbias, Jazz, Merengue and calypso, among others.
The richness of the sounds played by this band has a very personal stamp in the way they create music, based mainly on (without disregarding the roots of Cuban music) recreating popular music with contemporary elements and ground-breaking arrangements which audiences truly enjoy.
